Jennifer Aniston inherited the gene of acting from her father John Aniston and mother Nancy Dow, both belonging to the school of acting. Aniston has two half brothers, John Melick of her older and Alex Aniston of her younger. The family lived for a year in Greece and later relocated to New York. Jennifer Aniston parents separated when she was just nine years old.


Jennifer Aniston attended the New York Rudolf Steiner School and it was here only that she realized her passion for acting upon joining the drama club. Jennifer Aniston went on to pursue her interests in arts with a graduation degree from Manhattan's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.
